MCOHome Officially Joins KNX Association to Accelerate Global Layout of Smart Building and Smart Home Ecosystem

Recently, Guangzhou MCOHome Technology Co., Ltd. has completed the full membership‑approval procedures and officially joined the KNX Association CVBA headquartered in Belgium, becoming an official global member enterprise of KNX. This marks MCOHome’s full integration into one of the world’s most influential open‑technology ecosystems for home and building automation, representing a critical step forward in standardized product R&D, international compliance system development and global market expansion.
As the world’s sole open standard for home and building control, KNX covers more than 190 countries and regions across the globe. Its ecosystem brings together over 500 manufacturer members and more than 140,000 certified KNX engineers. Widely adopted in high‑end residences, commercial complexes, hotels, office buildings and public‑construction projects, KNX features outstanding device interoperability, system stability and energy‑saving performance, making it the mainstream technical standard for smart‑building projects in overseas markets including Europe and Latin America.
Full membership in the KNX Association grants enterprises access to complete official KNX technical manuals and development toolkits. By signing the KNX Trademark License Agreement, members obtain legal authorization to use the KNX trademarks. Members are also entitled to participate in discussions on KNX standard revisions, and their corporate information will be recorded in the global MyKNX database. This showcases corporate credentials to system integrators, contractors and distributors worldwide, greatly empowering brand globalization.
Upon this membership enrolment, MCOHome has obtained the official membership certificate and the legal trademark‑license authorization document issued by the KNX Association. Going forward, MCOHome will make full use of member benefits to conduct in‑depth research on the KNX protocol. The company will plan and carry out development and testing for KNX‑certified hardware products, and deliver holistic smart‑home and building‑automation solutions that enable cross‑brand and cross‑device interoperability.
Leveraging KNX’s worldwide ecosystem channels, MCOHome will further deepen its presence in overseas markets of Latin America, Europe and Southeast Asia. It will deliver standardized, highly‑compatible domestic‑manufactured smart hardware to global distributors and project owners, and provide stable and reliable intelligent control solutions for residential and commercial building projects at home and abroad.
A representative from MCOHome commented: “Joining the global KNX ecosystem constitutes an important milestone in MCOHome’s global‑strategy roadmap. We will strictly abide by the KNX Association’s technical specifications, internal rules and Trademark License Agreement. Upholding the concept of open interconnectivity, we will keep refining intelligent‑hardware products that meet international standards, and work hand‑in‑hand with global KNX ecosystem partners to promote high‑quality development of the smart‑building industry.”
